Canon Camera Review - Canon Powershot SD1400IS (14 MP)

Specifications: Canon has come up with yet another excellent mainstream compact digital camera model. If you are in the market for a stylish, compact and high quality point-and-shoot model, look no further than the new Canon Powershot SD1400IS. This model has a 14MP image sensor and a spacious 2.7-inch LCD screen. Then there is the 28mm lens and 4x of optical zoom. This set of specs will prove to be more than sufficient for the casual consumer

Design: The cute little Canon Powershot SD1400IS is available in black, orange, silver and pink. It looks very contemporary and a particularly liked the orange model, which looks very young and sporty. It is extremely small, even for a camera in its class. It measures at 3.6 x 2.2 x 0.7 inches in dimensions and weighs in at just 4.7 ounces. Despite is size, the camera was amazingly comfortable to use, even for someone with large hands. The controls were all very strategically laid out and very intuitive.

Canon

Features & Performance: Canon Powershot SD1400IS comes with a comprehensive set of features. There is a wide variety of shooting modes (low light, beach, outdoors, fireworks, panoramic, etc) and it also captures HD videos at 720p.

Then there is the new Smart Shutter feature. It includes face detection, wink and smile-activated timers that are all very cool features. Some of the other new features (among many others) are the Miniature Effect and Fish-eye effect. These quirky new features really makes the SD1400IS much more fun to use. Most importantly, the quality of the photos taken was very good for a point-and-shoot model. The photos had accurate colors, were vibrant and had good color consistency. All in all, the Canon Powershot SD1400IS has proven itself to be one of the best models in its class. An affordable price tag really helps too. This camera currently retails at just around 9 per unit.

Canon 2400 SLR Gadget Bag User Review - Read Before You Buy Canon 2400 Bag!

I love this Canon 2400 SLR Gadget Bag and I am so pleased with it, I have had this bag now for several months and I can honestly just say that it has more then surpassed all my expectations. I own one Canon Deluxe Photo Backpack 200EG for Canon EOS SLR Cameras, which served for some time as my main bag before up until I purchased this gadget bag. This bag easily stores everything I need.

Before I bought this Canon 2400 SLR Gadget Bag I was very hesitated because I was reading a lot of mixed reviews which made me eager to buy it. So I finally decided to go for it and I bought the camera bag from Amazon and the delivery date was right on and once I got it I was very pleased and surprised at what I actually got, compared to some camera bags that I have seen, this Canon 2400 SLR Gadget Bag seems small but it is so roomy and what I love most about this bag is that even it looks small but actually it is really a big bag that does not feel like a big bag at all!

Canon

I have been trying to fit all my camera and accessories in order to see if I can get everything in there, and it turns out I can. In the main compartment of the bag I can easily fit:

1. Rebel XT body (with the kit lens attached to it)
2. Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III USM Telephoto Zoom Lens
3. Canon 430EX Speedlite Flash
4. Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II
5. Different cards.
6. Some cords.

The front of this Canon 2400 SLR Gadget Bag holds a few lens and extra memory cards covers and all the manuals for everything. On the sides of the bag I can store the camera and video camera with tapes for the video camera, the batteries and battery chargers for Flash. Even after that, with all of the above I still have room to store other things. After using this bag all over the place with all the gadgets for several months, I absolutely say it can hold up everything as it did with me very well and you can see no signs of tear or wear at all which make it a durable bag for loading and carrying it all the time.

Canon Powershot SD940IS - A Review of the Latest Camera From Canon

It's hard trying to carry some of the high-end SLR cameras around or finding a compact model with advanced image quality for those quick moments in time. With 12 megapixels and 720p video, the Powershot SD940IS provides high quality pictures and video in a compact size. This little camera is pack with features like image stabilization, blink detection, and face detection. Add in the compact size and you're off to shoot photos everywhere like a pro.

With a 28mm lens on the front to capture beautiful snapshots, the SD 940IS also has a 2.7" LCD screen, which looks great when showing off stuff to your friends on the go. If you want to watch video, you have the option to use the HDMI output to view all of you home movies on the big screen. Just use the HDMI cable to hook it up and follow the menus to start watching. Aside from the benefits of removing red eye, you get a boatload of settings to get the right lighting and contrast for whatever situation. If you can't decide, there's an auto setting that picks it for you using 22 different presets. The overall size of the SD 940IS makes it easy to carry in your front pocket without feeling bulky. Plus, the buttons are all within reach to keep your hands from straining to take a simple shot of the family.

Canon

The Powershot SD940IS offers plenty for its 9 price tag. The only problem is the lack of a detailed booklet to show you how to use the damn thing. Some of the settings and menu layout can be confusing to use, but many may stick setting it to auto to save time. This sometimes hurt sales, but it's a small sacrifice for quality in this case. Don't bother with asking about editing software. You're better off getting one that more than the included tools and interface. Short battery life is also a problem, so make sure to bring extra batteries if you plan to shoot for a long time.

The SD 940IS is a great point-and shoot camera for the pros and consumers wanting great photos in a compact size. It doesn't matter if you need to capture moments of a wedding or want to snap a few shots in a nightclub. The Powershot SD 940IS has the situation covered in more ways than one. Right now Canon offers the SD940IS in black, blue, sliver and brown (all come with a metallic finish). If you don't know how to operate a camera at all, you may get a little aggravated trying to figure this one out. If you're a pro, this may be a breeze as long as you don't get lost within the menus to set everything up. Beyond that, this is a great buy for the price and a great gift for this holiday season.

New Canon EOS Rebel T2i Digital SLR Camera Review

Canon has added to the entry-level segment, the new EOS Rebel T2i. Born with the popularity of the Canon EOS Rebel T1i, the EOS Rebel T2i is designed to offer more choice to the video function.

Canon EOS Rebel T2i - Features:

Canon

There are several changes from the Rebel T1i. In particular, the ISO sensitivity reaches up to ISO 6400, although it is still possible to expand to 12800 ISO. The management of the sensitivity function AutoISO, can not use very high ISO in difficult conditions, but to set an upper limit. Features not found on previous models offering a totally entrusted to the control machine.

The screen has a higher resolution, it passes from 307,000 to 1,040,000 pixels, a significant difference expect to deepen.

The new screen resolution should help with new video features of the Canon EOS Rebel T2i. Available video recording Full HD 1080p with manual control and frame rate selectable. You can choose between 30, 25 and 24 fps in full HD quality, while 60 or 50 fps with reduced quality to 720p. Interesting is the Movie Crop reduces the resolution to 640 × 480 to obtain a magnification of 7 times the lens focal length.

The measurement system to 63 zones iFCL dual-layer corresponds to that of the Canon EOS 7D, just one of the innovative features that accompanied this product. This measurement system has new algorithms for determining an optimal exposure.

The EOS Rebel T2i has an exposure compensation of +/- 5EV 1/3 or 1/2 stop. Is not a new feature to other brands like Nikon and Olympus.

Added compatibility with the Eye-Fi memory. Probably the Eye-Fi technology will be implemented in the service iMAGE GATEWAY, offering a convenient service that automatically sends the detection of a hotspot Wi-Fi on your space. Canon EOS Rebel T2i supports memory cards SDXC that have a theoretical maximum size of 2TB.

Canon EOS Rebel T2i - Considerations:

It 'a new SLR from excellent features. It will certainly be a good product that will continue the success of this segment Canon. The functions and features allow you to judge as of now, the only concern of great importance is the quality of the sensor, an APS-C loaded with 18 megapixel would seem a bit excessive, then we must take a look at the shots at high ISO.

Will go on sale from March at a price of 9.99 body only and 9.99 in one body with Canon EF-S 18-55 f/3.5-5.6 IS lens kit.

The price is high, but of course, is to launch. Expect some evidence "empirical" to give an overall assessment on the new Canon T2i.

Canon Speedlite 580ex II Review

If you have an SLR camera and are looking for a flashlight attachment to take better, more professional looking shots, you should look no further than the Canon Speedlite 580EX II. The 580EX offers the highest quality in a flashlight, while remaining affordable for consumer camera.

Most complaints about built-in flashlights in SLR cameras are that they aren't bright enough, that the timing on the flash cannot be controlled, or that the placement of the flashlight in relation to the lens is too close - giving a glaring bright spot or washed-out area where your subject matter should be.

Canon

The Canon Speedlite 580EX II not only has the esteemed honor of being Canon's top shelf flashlight for its EOS III system, but it has found itself being used by photographers shooting with other SLR and DSLR camera simply because it offers wide compatibility and extremely fine tuning found nowhere else in an internal or external flashlight.

Here are just a few of the features you get with the Canon Speedlite 580EX II:

1. The Speedlite 580EX II has one of the fastest recycling times out there. Over 25% faster than other flashlights. This means more continuous shots without all of the waiting time.

2. The built-in catchlight means you can use the 580EX II to switch for portrait shots

3. FP Mode, which allows the camera to sync with the Speedlite 580EX II at higher shutter speeds.

4. The Canon 580EX II has a stroboscopic mode. This sends out tiny, successive flashes so that you can monitor what the flash will look like ahead of time, and monitor the outcome of your pictures.

5. The Speedlite 580EX II has 14 custom professional setting to get your picture the way you want it. No more guessing or working around how the flashlight functions. Take your pictures without worry of flash delay or effect.

6. The Canon Speedlite 580EX II automatically transmits color temperature data. This sets the camera's color balance for optimal flash shots.

7. There a second curtain that fires a flash at the end of the exposure when using the 580EX II, which allows for a natural flow of light behind your subject matter suring action shots. The Canon Speedlite 580EX II is the perfect upgrade for those who are tired of the performance of flashlights on regular SLR/DSLER cameras, and who want the best quality flash shots on consumer AND professional levels. When combing through customer reviews of the Canon 580EX II, the feedback seems to be outstanding on the following points:

Pros:

High compatibility Very fast recycling time between shots Easy to use custom settings Durable High power and performance output Consistent

Cons:

Heavy / bulky

People who have purchased the Canon Speedlite 580EX II and put it through its paces come from all walks of life - frontline journalists, nature photographers, professional even photographers, paparazzi, professional portrait photographers, nighttime photographers, and (mostly) everyday users. They will tell you that the 580EX II has changed the way they now take flash pictures, and that the Canon Speedlte 580EX II has opened up a whole range of photography that wasn't possible with their camera's built-in flashlight, or other external flashlights that they tried before switching to the 580EX II.

So whether you are taking nighttime wildlife stills, capturing the bride and groom during their first dance, covering a concert, or taking photos of the world around you for your blog or personal album, the Canon Speedlite 580EX II will let you start taking pictures the way you want them. No longer will you have to deal with the frustration of washed-out pictures, overexposed subject matter, or inaccurate timing for you flashlight photography. The 580EX II should be your next external flashlight for all your photography needs, and once your switch, you will never think about going back to another flashlight ever.

Canon Sd780is Review - Best Compact Camera

I did not realize until I received the Canon Sd780is just how small it was. It is actually a little smaller than a deck of cards. I wanted to get a small camera so I would not have to pack around my big camcorder or my DSLR. I like this little camera because I can just drop it in my shirt pocket and go everywhere with it. I am always taking pictures and video of my daughter with it.

I could not have asked for a more high quality compact digital camera. For the purpose of this review I would like to point out that this camera is a 12 MP and will shoot at 2592 x 1944 and can go up to 4000 x 3000 and also 4000 x 2248 for even wider shots. The quality of the photos are very close to my Panasonic FZ-28 which shoots at 720p high definition but of course is a much larger camera. I can take over 2600 photos before I empty it although I never do.

Canon

I also like the fact that I can zoom with this camera while recording video. I can watch the videos on my 52" Toshiba HDTV. The only thing is I have to be very slow with my movements while recording video or it will blur but other than that I get very crisp clear, and colorful videos. It also has a tripod mount and I use it sometimes to help keep a steady video shot. There is built in Digic IV Processor and iSaps technology that will automatically calculate the the light in the room and it will adjust automatically.

The 3x zoom is not a whole lot but I found it to be sufficient in all most of my shooting situation.

The viewfinder is small but it comes in handy in bright sunlight when you cant see the LCD screen and not to mention most of the current point and shoot digital cameras do not even come with a viewfinder but this one does.

I would suggest getting a 16GB and an extra battery because when you are shooting video it will eat your battery up pretty quick.

I also love the fact that this Canon sd780is has the ability to choose to shoot in auto mode or I can go into the program settings and change the ISO and the white balance. I change these sometimes when shooting in low light because I do not like the results of photo taken with a point and shoot camera with the flash on. So I will set the ISO to 400 and white balance to tungsten and the shots come out with very nice colors clear and crisp. I have taken shots with this camera on this setting in absolutely very little and low light and I get beautiful pictures with it.

I love that it is so small it fits in a pocket ready to pull out at a moments notice to capture the precious moments pics at the right time. I highly recommend this little Canon sd780is review camera to anyone no matter what your level of photography experience may be.

Canon 60D Review

Description: Despite the cons, Canon 60D is one camera that's able to satisfy the needs of semi-pro photo enthusiasts. In fact, it's built to cater for everyone who wishes to capture every moment with very vivid sharp pictures.

The arrival of Canon 60D was met with revelry-and, at some points, skepticism. How is this going to fare well with its predecessors and its nearest competitors, such as Nikon D7000? Here's an honest-to-goodness Canon 60D review:

Canon

What It's Meant For

The secret to any product is the accurate definition of the target market. In the case of Canon 60D, pundits believe that it's meant for the semi-pro. These are individuals who are no longer amateurs and looking for challenging pieces of equipment to use. However, they are not professionals who demand more features, including a bigger collection of special effects and easy post-processing of photos, from their cameras.

This also explains why the Canon 60D price is mid range. Nevertheless, the Canon 60D price has also worked to its advantage, as other enthusiasts, such as families, have decided to purchase one for their own use.

It's in the Size

One of the biggest obvious changes of Canon 60D is found physically. With a dimension of 5.7 inches in width, 3.1 inches in-depth, and 4.2 inches in height, it is more compact and a lot more portable than other cameras, even those from Canon. If this isn't enough, it weighs only a little more than a pound. It may have something to do with the omission of the metal alloy construction. This has been replaced by a metal chassis but with a plastic body.

Ease of Use

Another great offering of Canon 60D is it's very convenient to use. For one, a lot of the buttons already have dedicated functions. We aren't sure at first if this is good, as there are already more buttons to memorize. Nevertheless, once you get past the learning process, you'll discover that dedicated buttons is the way to go if you want to save a lot of time. It makes use of the four-way controller, an enhancement of the small joystick found in 50D.

The increase to 18 mega-pixels allows the capture of more stunning and crisper images. And since Canon 60D is packed with creative filters and special effects, you can spend less time during the post processing. The said changes can also be seen in the Live Viewer. The viewfinder coverage has been expanded to 96 percent too. As a user, you can convert the raw files to a more photo-uploading-friendly JPEG right on the camera. It's also possible to crop photos without losing vital details.

Canon Laser Printer: A Review of the Canon D340 Digital Copier Laser Printer

A printer which is designed either for personal, professional, or business use must have excellent quality printing abilities, and a Canon laser printer is my best bet for that. Specifically as a copier and printer, the Canon D340 Digital Copier Laser Printer is one of the best models that I have ever used. Let me enlighten you through this review that I have written for that exact purpose.

Design

Canon

This model is a nice conventional white printer with buttons which are very easy to use and a small LCD display for essential information. It looks like any common laser printer and copier, but it's compact enough to be easily set in a room, table, or desk. The dimensions of the machine are 18'' x 21.4''' x 17.8'' and it has a weight of 35.2 pounds. It's very bulky and it's not advisable to be used as a portable machine. It should be settled in a single location which is most convenient for your use.

The LCD display is very small and is only meant for showing important data. The buttons are intuitive, simple, and very easy to use. It is not designed for network use so you can only access it through one PC. The device also has a lot more functions that can definitely help you speed up your work and make better output for an even more productive work pace.

Printing and Other Functions

The device is a printer and a copier in one, so compared to other Canon laser printers, this is much more functional. The printer can produce output in as fast as 14 seconds per minute, not as speedy as other models but certainly fast enough. It has a high resolution for enhanced output of up to 1200x600 dpi. The printer also has toner saver mode which allows you to use less ink for lesser costs.

The copier is the prized feature of this device. It has a very intelligent copying system which lest you scan once and copy many, so you won't have to keep on scanning a single document to produce multiples copies. The copy speed is the same as printing, as well as the quality so your copies are just like or even better than the original one. You can produce 99 copies of a single document in one setting. You can also reduce and enlarge your documents from 5% to 400% and every whole number in between. The copier also has a toner saver function. It can automatically collate copies of documents according to the page, so if you're reproducing multiple pages of multiple copies, you won't have to sort every one of them individually. The 2 on 1 function allows you to print two documents in a single paper so that you can save more paper and help the environment.

Other Features

The 250-sheet tray makes printing multiple pages a lot easier because you don't have to keep on refilling the paper tray. The automatic document feeder input of the copier makes copying more accessible and less hassling to use, especially if you only need a few copies. The product is also Energy Star qualified so for environmentalists and nature-lovers, this is a very friendly and safe device.

Conclusion

I don't think anyone would be disappointed in this Canon laser printer. I have used it for a long while and so far, I have been completely satisfied with its performance. the Canon D340 Digital Copier Laser Printer is a very remarkable machine and I highly recommend it to all those people who desire to have an excellent laser printer and copier, for whatever purpose it may serve.

A Review of the Canon PowerShot A1100

The Canon PowerShot A110 is a more advanced version of a previous Canon model. The Canon PowerShot A100 features 12 megapixels at high resolution, and uses the latest image processor called Digic 4. The Canon offers a face detection system, as well as various shooting modes.

The Canon PowerShot A1100 comes in four colors with two tones; gray, green, blue, and pink. The Canon camera system has a sleek and somewhat curvy design that gives a better grip when shooting with just one hand. The digital SLR is compact and conveniently sized, and can fit into little purses or your pocket. The PowerShot sd780 is equipped with a viewfinder. The viewfinder of the PowerShot sd780 can be quite uncomfortable to use at first, but it is most useful to shooting in bright environments.

Canon

The Canon 35mm camera comes with a number of functions and buttons to suit all your photography needs. The Canon camera features several kinds of scenes for your pictures, to suit the environment you are shooting whether that be indoors, at sunset, or portrait-style. Though the buttons and functions of this digital camera may seem overwhelming at first, it will take no time at all before you are well acquainted with them.

The Canon PowerShot A1100 is not equipped with the earlier manual functions of the previous Canon models. However, the canon digital cameras allows the user to control the environment settings, color, as well as brightness of his shoot. The discount camera is actually a very simple point-and-shoot camera.

Though the canon digital cameras displays excellent quality, it tends to slow down after regular use. The canon best cameras, however, features a 1 frame per second continuous shooting at an unlimited duration.

Unbiased Canon SX30IS Review

Are you searching for an unbiased Canon SX30IS review before deciding whether to buy one? You are definitely not the only one. People all over the world are looking for great deals on these camera and that's why I wrote this article about getting the best bargains.

You would instantly fall in love with Canon sx30is if you are aware of the features that make a camera effective. Canon sx30is model has all the features that one essentially looks while buying a good camera.

Canon

One of he reasons why this model is regarded as one of the best in the current collection is mainly due to the fact that it is capable of making photography a lot easy and also offers opportunities to the user to put in maximum amount of creativity, something that most of the other digital cameras have lacked over the years.

Canon sx30is has the body of a digital camera and features of a professional camera and this is certainly its top highlight. This is exactly what an individual wants. Not many people prefer the conventional digital camera. Even though digital cameras are known for their supreme picture quality, they lack features that a professional photographer would want to use. On the other side, professional cameras are difficult to carry everywhere along with you and the fact that they are on the expensive side also means that a small mistake while carrying such a camera might well make a big hole in your pocket. Hence, this is mainly the reason why many people think twice before carrying or buying a professional camera.

This camera model is the perfect blend of both the extremes and this is mainly the reason why this model has captured the international market as of now. Another highlight of this camera model is its sound quality. Usually, we avoid taking a video with the help of our digital camera. This is due to the poor or average sound quality. However, this model is about to bring in a revolution to the aspect of sound.

Canon sx30is has a resolution range which has the ability to reach 4320p * 2340p. This range is considered to be one of the highest. The model also offers a range of features which would enable the user to play around with the picture in terms of its brightness, color, shade, background, light effect etc.

I hope you have find this article useful. Good luck.

Canon All in One Printers: A Review of the Canon ImageCLASS MF4370DN Laser All-In-One Printer

I have been looking for a Canon all in one printer which I can depend on to provide my needs for my businesses. Luckily, I found the Canon imageCLASS MF4370DN Laser All-in-One Printer which I am more than happy to have, but I do not want to just say it in plain words. I also want you to know why I admire this device, so I wrote this review for your enlightenment.

Design

Canon

The printer has a nice gray-black finish which is quite unusual for a laser all in one, since most of these devices are plain white. It's also quite compact with the dimensions of 15.4" x 21.0" x 17.9" and a weight of 27.6 pounds without a cartridge. It's not suitable for frequent transferring from one place to another, but it's definitely easy to set up on any table top or shelf. But what makes this device a better one compared to many other Canon all in one printers is that it's internet-enabled and can be used by multiple users connected in a single network. All you have to do is activate a wireless router and install the settings in all the computers you want to include in the network and connect the printer through an Ethernet cable, and once they are all connected in that network, you can use all the computers to print on this device.

The LCD display is quite plain and is used mainly for viewing basic information while the device performs its various tasks. The device is a multifunctional machine so it doesn't just offer plain monochrome printing - it also provides scanning, copying, and faxing. This is a plus for me because I really have a lot of use for those functions.

Printing and Other Functions

As a laser printer, I can't ask for more from this model. You can ask the many other users of this model and they will all tell you that it prints excellently. It can print to a speed of 23 pages per minute for letter size documents. It also produces documents of up to 1,200x600 dpi resolutions. There are two trays, the multifunctional and the cassette paper trays, which allow you to keep more paper for the less need of refilling.

The copier can produce the same speed of copies per minute as the printer with resolutions of 600x600 dpi. You can reduce or enlarge your documents on preset sizes of 50%, 64%, 78%, 129%, and 200%. The platen copy input can reproduce documents with a maximum size of 8.5'' x 11.7'' while for bigger documents up to 8.5'' x 14'', you can use the ADF copy input. The copier also has toner saver mode which allows you to save a lot more ink and even paper using the 2 on 1 feature which lets you reproduce two documents in a single page.

The scanner makes use of color contact image sensor technology to produce document images with a bit depth of 24-bit. The platen input can scan a maximum document size of 8.5'' x 11.7'' while the ADF input can scan up to 8.5'' x 14''. It can also create images in PDF, JPEG, TIFF, and BMP formats.

The fax machine can produce super fine text resolutions of up to 203x391 dpi and save up to 256 pages in the memory. There are 100 dials that can be saved in the memory with eight one-touch speed dials. The fax can also print duplex automatically so it allows you to save a lot more paper.

Other Features

The duplex printing feature of this device is applicable for all printing, copying, and faxing functions. The Ethernet port makes network use a lot easier and can provide accessibility even for computers at different areas within the network. You can print on the device downstairs even if your computer is in the room upstairs. The printer makes use of a single cartridge which lets you save more money as compared to using two different cartridges - one for the drum and one for the toner. The drum and toner are mixed in one cartridge so it's easier to set up and eliminates the need for complicated mixing.

The best feature of this device is that it's a member of the Generation Green campaign and using it not only gives you benefits, but Mother Nature as well. You can reduce power consumption to as low as 3 Watts through the Energy Saver mode. The device is also Energy Star qualified so it's definitely environment-friendly.

Conclusion

There are many Canon all in one printers, but the Canon imageCLASS MF4370DN Laser All-in-One Printer is definitely my favorite. The only catch is that it doesn't run in Mac, but that's no problem for me because I use a Windows operating system. Apart from that, I believe no one will ever be dissatisfied with this model. Therefore can confidently say that I highly recommend this model for anyone out there who needs an all in one laser printer for business or personal use.

Canon 24-105mm Review - One Of The Most Popular Canon L Series Lenses For Good Reason

No Canon 24-105mm review would be complete without first mentioning the reasons why this lens has become one of the most popular lenses going around.

Relatively low price

Canon

As far as Canon L series lenses go, this one is competitively priced which means you get what you pay for, if not more.

Versatile

Many have dubbed the 24-105mm a walkabout lens, meaning you can just put it on your camera and photograph whatever takes your fancy without any danger of the lens being wide enough or long enough.

This is especially true on a 1.6x crop body where the 105mm becomes a telephoto length 168mm.

Furthermore, this particular lens utilizes a popular filter size (77mm) which can also be fitted to a number of other high quality lenses, meaning you do not have to spend more money buying expensive filters for each lens you own.

High image quality and image stabilization

As with all L Series lenses, high image quality is a given and this is helped in part by image stabilization technology built into the lens which enables you to hand hold shots you would otherwise have to use a tripod for.

This greatly reduces the effects of camera shake which make your images blurry and unusable.

So is there anything that this Canon 24-105mm review has missed out on, particularly negative points?

There are a few small things. The biggest of which is the maximum aperture of f/4. For people who like to shoot in low light a lot or at weddings this lens may be a bit too slow.

Canon PIXMA IP4850 Ink Review

It is testament to just how very good Canon's inkjets usually are that very little innovation keeps them at the top of the tree. The Pixma iP4850 is physically indistinguishable from the earlier Pixma iP4700, equipped with the identical low profile and polished finish, and even when it comes to printing there are actually very few alterations under the bonnet.

The five-colour ink system is still in place, using both pigmented as well as dye-based blacks to make sure text as well as images both see the benefit. Any sort of variation in print level of quality is consequently essentially imperceptible, with the identical excellent colour tones along with razor-sharp fine detail in pictures and diagrams. Text is robust as well as blemish-free, conjointly the iP4850 prints two-sided and moreover directly onto optical discs while using the supplied tray.

Canon

The one instantly obvious update is in document speed. Its predecessor's measured speeds of 8.8ppm in black and white and 5.8ppm in colour have been improved a bit, to 10.5ppm and 6.1ppm respectively. Aside from that it is almost the same, with a top-quality 6 x 4in print still taking 46 seconds and our A4 photomontage falling in to the tray in 1min 38secs.

Strangely enough, where Canon has attempted to crack brand new ground is in the enclosed software and tools. The Canon iP4850 ink cartridges are the new PGI-525 and CLI-526 inks, even so the benefit is not in extra capacity; actually the tanks are chipped, and therefore owners utilizing a complete collection of actual Canon inks will discover they've exclusive entry to Creative Park Premium - an expansion of Canon's established art and creativity website.

It's full of "photos and illustrations from world-renowned artists", such as the likes of Norman Rockwell and Beatrix Potter. The photos are yours to utilize openly, additionally, the site lets you switch them in to a number of cards, calendars as well as other projects. It is not must-have material, but it is a nice extra.

If that doesn't excite, one other new addition is a Full HD Movie Print function. In case you have a Canon EOS or PowerShot camera capable of recording HD video, this particular function grabs a still from any specific scene, improves it and also prints it as a high-quality photograph. Barely a best-selling attribute, and it's a pity that more video variations are not supported, yet we can easily see the appeal.

Yet that's it. Exact same USB interface as well as PictBridge slot, identical two paper trays in addition to same above-average running costs. There's frankly nothing in any respect here to lure possessors of the iP4700 to move up, nevertheless, you get the feeling Canon understands simply too well exactly how great its printers presently are.

With the Pixma it is a clear case of not fooling with a successful formula: it is still the quickest all-round inkjet on the market and nothing can match the caliber of its prints. Thus without the need for doing an awful lot new or exciting the iP4850 steals onto the A List - for home printing there exists hardly any opposition.

Canon Deluxe Photo Backpack 200eg Review - Don't Buy a Canon Backpack 200eg Until You Read This!

This Canon Deluxe Photo Backpack 200EG is the best ever cost-to-value product that Canon came up with. I compared this backpack to similar Tamrac and Lowepro backpacks.

My huge LowePro Nova 5AW always hurt my shoulder and back when I carry it around with all my stuff in which is so much. I saw the Canon Deluxe Photo Backpack 200EG and I immediately ordered one after reading many good reviews about it. I am really impressed with the huge amount of equipment it holds and how it is easily modifiable for your particular needs. It was half the price of my old LowePro bag. Its very well designed and constructed with lots of compartments, zippers, external straps, protective padding and quality materials. I carry the following items in this bag and it still had more room to go, I carry in this bag Canon 20D with the 28-135IS Lens attached, charger for the BP-511, charger for the BP-511, Firewire CF reader, a lens cleaning kit (small 5x7x1 box), four bp-511-type batteries, Hoya filter packs (3 boxes) for the 18-55, a 380EX flash, 50mm/1.8 mkI lens, 300D/Digital Rebel Body with the battery grip attached, Tiffen filter essentials for the giant 28-135 lens, ) table top tripod, 18-55 EF lens, a bunch of ends and odds like a flat level, the Rebel wired remote, etc.

Canon

External compartments of this Canon Deluxe Photo Backpack 200EG hold everything else such as chargers, cables, spare battery packs etc. It has got straps for carrying all kinds of stuff. On the bottom, It has other straps to carry my tripod which my old bag did not have. There is one empty front pocket and a spot in the compartments and plenty of room in the pockets, Not to mention, I can easily put cell phone and its charger in the side compartment and one Parodis pack or even two in the other side.

The best thing for me I found in this bag is that the camera is easy to retrieve when I pack it in the bag and it is ready to shoot. So I can have my 20D camera ready to go with the lens 28-135 IS hood on it. Unlike some other backpacks that require you to open the bag completely, this bag can have the camera located exactly near the opening so all I need to do is just move the zipper and the camera can easily slide out. For me, this is a big plus to the Canon Deluxe Photo Backpack 200EG design because I do not have to reveal the entire contents of my bag to everyone to get the camera out. Instead I can retrieve the camera alone where no one sees what else is inside there and the camera all ready to shoot.

The flap/cover which zips open of this bag has both exterior and interior pockets. The external portion of the flap/cover has a compartment that zips horizontally across the mid portion of the flap/cover and it also has a zipper and when opening it follows a semicircular pattern . Again, there is much of storage space in these pockets. There are two mesh pockets with zippers on the inside of this flap. There is ample space to store all flash cards, manual, batteries, or whatever. It has the same width and length similar to the compartment that contains all the camera equipment I specified.

There are two smaller pockets of this Canon Deluxe Photo Backpack 200EG that have a zelcro attachment on the side of the bag. I place lens cleaning equipment and cleaning cloths in these pockets. On the bottom of the bag, there are straps that allow you to attach your tripod, the tripod is held securely and doesn't bounce against you while you are walking. There are straps which connect across your waist and chest to aid in weight distribution. I prefer the waist straps to the chest straps. The shoulder straps make toting the bag extremely comfortable as they are thick and well padded. Fit and finish appears well done and with high quality.

To share with you my buying experience, After lengthy research I ordered it from Amazon and in just a few days after placing my order they shipped it to me. Amazon's current price (around at time of writing) is a steal and I could never find this price in any other website after my research before buying it as I found that their price can surely never be beaten and also why I chose Amazon is that I found this item to be eligible for free shippping with their super saver shipping service which saved me some extra bucks!

Wow!!! I am really impressed with this Canon Deluxe Photo Backpack 200EG! And to top it all off, Not only is the bag very comfortable when loaded with all that mess of stuff in the bag , but the zippers also operate very easily. I walk around very comfortably unlike many other backpacks.

For me, this bag is a no-brainer and it is absolutely worth it even at the list price but at the markdown price, I would say it is undoubtedly a steal. I saved around 0 compared to similarly styled and sized bags from Tamrac and Lowepro.
