The Canon PowerShot A110 is a more advanced version of a previous Canon model. The Canon PowerShot A100 features 12 megapixels at high resolution, and uses the latest image processor called Digic 4. The Canon offers a face detection system, as well as various shooting modes.

The Canon PowerShot A1100 comes in four colors with two tones; gray, green, blue, and pink. The Canon camera system has a sleek and somewhat curvy design that gives a better grip when shooting with just one hand. * First, the lens ships without a hood.

I have been looking for a Canon all in one printer which I can depend on to provide my needs for my businesses. Luckily, I found the Canon imageCLASS MF4370DN Laser All-in-One Printer which I am more than happy to have, but I do not want to just say it in plain words. I also want you to know why I admire this device, so I wrote this review for your enlightenment.

The printer has a nice gray-black finish which is quite unusual for a laser all in one, since most of these devices are plain white. It's also quite compact with the dimensions of 15.4" x 21.0" x 17.9" and a weight of 27.6 pounds without a cartridge. It's not suitable for frequent transferring from one place to another, but it's definitely easy to set up on any table top or shelf. But what makes this device a better one compared to many other Canon all in one printers is that it's internet-enabled and can be used by multiple users connected in a single network. All you have to do is activate a wireless router and install the settings in all the computers you want to include in the network and connect the printer through an Ethernet cable, and once they are all connected in that network, you can use all the computers to print on this device.

The LCD display is quite plain and is used mainly for viewing basic information while the device performs its various tasks. The device is a multifunctional machine so it doesn't just offer plain monochrome printing - it also provides scanning, copying, and faxing. This is a plus for me because I really have a lot of use for those functions.

Printing and Other Functions

As a laser printer, I can't ask for more from this model. You can ask the many other users of this model and they will all tell you that it prints excellently. It can print to a speed of 23 pages per minute for letter size documents. It also produces documents of up to 1,200x600 dpi resolutions. There are two trays, the multifunctional and the cassette paper trays, which allow you to keep more paper for the less need of refilling.

The copier can produce the same speed of copies per minute as the printer with resolutions of 600x600 dpi. You can reduce or enlarge your documents on preset sizes of 50%, 64%, 78%, 129%, and 200%. The platen copy input can reproduce documents with a maximum size of 8.5'' x 11.7'' while for bigger documents up to 8.5'' x 14'', you can use the ADF copy input. The copier also has toner saver mode which allows you to save a lot more ink and even paper using the 2 on 1 feature which lets you reproduce two documents in a single page.

I carry the following items in this bag and it still had more room to go, I carry in this bag Canon 20D with the 28-135IS Lens attached, charger for the BP-511, charger for the BP-511, Firewire CF reader, a lens cleaning kit (small 5x7x1 box), four bp-511-type batteries, Hoya filter packs (3 boxes) for the 18-55, a 380EX flash, 50mm/1.8 mkI lens, 300D/Digital Rebel Body with the battery grip attached, Tiffen filter essentials for the giant 28-135 lens, ) table top tripod, 18-55 EF lens, a bunch of ends and odds like a flat level, the Rebel wired remote, etc.

The best thing for me I found in this bag is that the camera is easy to retrieve when I pack it in the bag and it is ready to shoot. So I can have my 20D camera ready to go with the lens 28-135 IS hood on it. Unlike some other backpacks that require you to open the bag completely, this bag can have the camera located exactly near the opening so all I need to do is just move the zipper and the camera can easily slide out. For me, this is a big plus to the Canon Deluxe Photo Backpack 200EG design because I do not have to reveal the entire contents of my bag to everyone to get the camera out. Instead I can retrieve the camera alone where no one sees what else is inside there and the camera all ready to shoot.

The flap/cover which zips open of this bag has both exterior and interior pockets. The external portion of the flap/cover has a compartment that zips horizontally across the mid portion of the flap/cover and it also has a zipper and when opening it follows a semicircular pattern . Again, there is much of storage space in these pockets. There are two mesh pockets with zippers on the inside of this flap. There is ample space to store all flash cards, manual, batteries, or whatever. It has the same width and length similar to the compartment that contains all the camera equipment I specified.

There are two smaller pockets of this Canon Deluxe Photo Backpack 200EG that have a zelcro attachment on the side of the bag. I place lens cleaning equipment and cleaning cloths in these pockets. On the bottom of the bag, there are straps that allow you to attach your tripod, the tripod is held securely and doesn't bounce against you while you are walking. There are straps which connect across your waist and chest to aid in weight distribution. I prefer the waist straps to the chest straps. The shoulder straps make toting the bag extremely comfortable as they are thick and well padded. Fit and finish appears well done and with high quality.

To share with you my buying experience, After lengthy research I ordered it from Amazon and in just a few days after placing my order they shipped it to me. Time For A Canon Digital Rebel XT Upgrade?

So, you've had your Canon Digital Rebel XT for a while, and you're starting to get a little camera envy. Nikon, Canon and the competition keep releasing new models with more bells and whistles. Which of course leads you to thinking about how much better your photos could be with the latest technology. Can't say I blame you, it happens to the best of us. Just for the heck of it, lets take a look at a couple of upgrade possibilities you may want to consider for your Rebel XT. One is the Canon EOS 5D, which is considerably more expensive, but includes a multitude of features the XT doesn't have. Keeping it in the Canon family, lets also take a look at the Canon EOS 40D. The 40D is pretty much in the middle price wise between the XT and the 5D, but with some pros and cons worth considering.

For the sake of argument, lets assume your a typical Digital Rebel owner, and shoot a wide variety of subjects. Family portraits, sports, landscape, nature, family outings, and vacation pics.

One place to start thinking in your upgrade process, is to ask yourself why you want to upgrade. Is it speed? In which case, the Canon 40D has a faster frame-per-second rating. 6 FPS for the 40D, while the 5D shoots at 3 FPS. How about image quality? The 5D comes with a pretty sweet full frame sensor. Full frame sensor cameras will result in better image quality, wide angle shots, and photographs more suited for cropping during the editing process.

Your current inventory of lenses is a consideration as well. Depending on the lenses you have, they may work better with one camera over another. It's pretty typical for Rebel XT owners to have several EF-S lenses. These lenses simply won't work with the 5D, but will work with the EOS 40D. If your keeping the Digital Rebel, and don't mind buying more lenses, then the 5D is still a worthy contender. I've heard from several photographers that like to have vastly different cameras for different situations. If you share this diverse thinking, then the Canon 5D is likely the better choice.

Of course, its hard to have a camera upgrade discussion without the subject of price coming up. The Canon 5D is a little less than twice the price of the EOS 40D. You have to wonder if maybe it's better to go for the cheaper 40D, and dump the rest of your budget into some nice glass (photo geek speak for lenses). Many would argue that spending your money on great lenses and a good camera body is the best way to get value for your money. Pretty subjective of course, and really depends on how you like to take pictures.

Canon has introduced a business class printer in Pixma MX310 multi-function printer; it can scan, copy and fax along with printing. The printer is targetted at small offices and home offices (SOHO). It's widely believed that with Canon, one can hardly go wrong, and this new MFP could just be a perfect one for business users.

MX310 is a high quality printer that offers a best printing resolution of 4800 X 1200 dpi and 1200 X 2400 dpi scan resolution. Printing speed is average for a Canon at 22ppm for monochrome and 17ppm for colour. Photo printing speed is at 46 seconds for a 4" X 6" borderless photograph.

Perhaps this printer is a rare breed for the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) option it avails. The ADF can store up to 30 originals making the scanning, copying and faxing activity effortless. Not many inkjet printers come with an ADF though.

Although the printer would not stand up and be counted as a photo printer, it is mounted with a PictBridge port but the absence of memory card readers is notable. For an office printer, networking is absolutely necessary and it's quite odd that Canon has decided to do away with it on this printer, thereby providing option-less connectivity through USB alone.

While the world is moving towards individual cartridges for each colour, Canon seems to be going back in time with MX310. The printer has a two cartridge system which can end up being an expensive solution with the economics concerned. Staying with the topic of finances, Canon has modestly set a price of £60 on this printer. It is a decent price but the cost of printing could send chills down the spines of consumers.

Buying a new Canon Rebel digital SLR camera just got a bit more complicated. The question now is, " Canon Rebel T3i vs T2i?"

There has been a lot of discussion about whether the T3i was worthy of release because it is not much of an upgrade. Make sure you stick with this discussion all the way through, because you will discover that there are some subtle changes here that may sway your buying decision.

The first and most obvious comparison is with the basic features. The sensor and image processor are the exact same in both cameras. That means that there will be no advantage for either when it comes to image quality.

To go along with that, some of the other benchmarks for camera comparison are also identical. ISO has not changed and neither has the video capture quality. The ability to capture 3.7 still frames per second is the same, too.

The biggest difference in the hardware is the LCD screen. With the newest Rebel, you have a swivel panel that can be positioned so that you can take photos from awkward positions, either above or below where you would not be able to position a Canon Rebel T2i and still be able to see the LCD screen.

So a vari-angle LCD screen is a big advantage for the Canon Rebel T3i.

A second benefit for the new model is the ability to fire multiple flashes remotely when taking a photo. This sounds more like a pro feature, but it is definitely something that is not available on the T2i.

Third on the list of added features is in the video category. You can now use the "movie digital zoom" to zoom in to the center of the image by a factor of 3x to 10x without any degradation of the video quality. Plus there is now total manual control of focus while shooting.

But most buyers of the Canon Rebels are not going to be buying multiple flash units, so that feature advantage is almost a mute point.

The real advantage of the Canon Rebel T3i vs T2i comes in some of the creative features available now on the new model.

First, there is a new video component that allows you to take short video clips and have them stitched together inside the camera. You take 2, 4, or 8 second clips, as many as you want, and the camera does the rest.

Another creative feature is something called Basic+. When you set your camera in this Basic+ mode, there are two choices for your creative output. The first is choosing an ambience setting and the second is shooting by lighting or scene type.

With the ambience setting, you set a kind of mood for your photo as the camera adjusts the sharpness, contrast, color and saturation for effect.

With lighting or scene type, the camera employs some Creative Filters for 5 different effects. These are Fish-eye, Miniature, Soft focus, Grainy Black and White, and Toy Camera.

Finally, perhaps the most useful feature for those new to digital SLR cameras, there is now a Feature Guide that appears in the LCD panel. This guide gives a short description of the selected mode or feature so that you don't have to go hunting for the manual or do an Internet search to find out what the feature is.

You bought that DSLR for the versatility and ability to change equipment to handle any and all situations. There is one piece of equipment you don't want to leave on the shelf. It is the Canon 70-200mm L lens.

There are actually four of these critters, and there is plenty of discussion about which is the best. But the truth is that any one of the four is an excellent choice. There are two differences which make up the four variations. First, there is an f/4 version and an f/2.8 version. Add to that the IS version of each, and the total is four.

First, it is important to know that each 70-200mm L lens version has excellent build quality and superior glass. The "L" in the name actually means Luxury. It is the highest quality of glass and building materials, making it much more expensive than non-L glass. There is low-dispersion and ultra-low dispersion glass in each of the four types. This basically means that the glass used (dispersion glass) is not subject to the same deterioration of quality as non-dispersion glass. It will not distort the images, making the image quality much better.

Another plus for the Canon 70-200mm lenses is the non-rotating front elements. This feature is important for maintaining focal quality, but it is also important if you are using certain filters, such as circular polarizers.

With the high range of focal length, having either f/4 or f/2.8 allows you, the photographer to have relatively low light photos without the danger of poor quality that comes with higher apertures. Obviously, the f/2.8 will allow faster shutter speeds than the f/4, making it a better choice if you are doing indoor sports where you will need the fastest possible setup.

Each of these models is also equipped with an ultrasonic motor, making the focus time almost instant. There is no searching as with other lesser quality products. The non-rotating barrel is also an asset when it is focusing. Auto focus is also present in conjunction with the ultrasonic motor.
